Dried Anise Hyssop
Organic Dried Anise Hyssop. One of our families favorite plant for its diverse interaction with everything. Every flying bee and pollen friend visits this plant almost all year. Its intoxicating licorice smell and taste helps me while gardening. We add it too cold water during the summer months, dry it for tea for the colder nights and use it to make baths when a cold is coming on. We add it boiling water on the stove during ridged cold days to add steam to the house. We also add it to our Summer cordials for a night by the bonfire. I also make a Salve for little cuts and boo boos.
Anise Hyssop is a member of the mint family. Its a healthy grower and loves the sun. Anise hyssop is an excellent source of pollen and nectar for a variety of pollinators and predatory insects.
